Privacy policy

Your account details (name, email, password), the basics you give us (date of birth, city, state, and optionally a phone number), your bio data questionnaire answers, your wali's name and contact details if you add one, and the messages you send on Rafique.

Video calls are peer to peer and are not recorded or stored by Rafique.

Rafique matchmakers see your full bio data so they can make introductions. Other clients never browse profiles. Someone you're introduced to learns your first name, age and city once you've both said yes, and sees your bio data only after your introduction call. Your wali sees your introduction chats and calls, but not your messages with matchmakers. Matchmakers can read introduction chats to keep them safe, for example when a concern is reported. Video calls aren't recorded.

You can download a copy of your data from Settings at any time, and deleting your account removes your profile, bio data and conversations.

We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

Data is stored with Supabase in the United States, and the site is hosted by Netlify. It's protected with access rules so each person only reaches what they're allowed to. Emails are sent through Resend. Video calls connect you directly to each other and aren't recorded.

You can edit your bio data at any time, pause your profile, remove your wali, or delete your account from Settings. Deleting your account removes your profile, bio data and conversations. You can also download a copy of your data from Settings. For anything else, contact us at contact@rafiquecenter.com.
